M is for Macro

An M's eye view of the world. She is still experimenting with her camera settings, and complains about how shaky her hand is. But it results in some amazing shots, like these.

Macro world is weird, isn't it? And so engrossingly fascinating! Buy M a study tripod, extension tubes and teach her. The photos are wonderful, as wonderful only as it can be through a child's view.

Those are really pretty pictures. Blurred images make for great desktop wallpaper, btw :)

@Balachandran: Macros are fabulous, and M just confirmed that she used a mode on her camera (a simple Canon Powershot ) called Super Macro. The upside is that it takes fantastic closeups, and the downside is that it needs a tripod since there is no inbuilt stabilizing. But what the heck: I loved the blurring effect, especially on the final shot of the coneflowers. Maybe I will get her a tripod after all,or use one of the couple that float around the house from room to room for S's movie projects.
@Lekhni: Totally agree- these do make wonderful desktop backgrounds! In some ways more so than crystal clear photos.
